Rick Rude was one of the most popular stars of the 1980s, and is constantly regarded as a hugely underrated star when looking at the history of the company. The Rock 'n' Wrestling movement in the 80s was summed up perfectly by guys like Rude, who had real charisma and real swagger. He won a remarkably low amount of gold during his time with the WWE, holding the Intercontinental Championship on just the solitary occasion. Even though he wasn't with the company for years and years, Rude was definitely deserving of a bigger push than the one he got with the WWE. Some great feuds with people like Jake Roberts and The Ultimate Warrior ensured he left his mark on the company, but Rude was bizarrely never given a shot to win a major championship with the company.
