6. Ted DiBiase
The "Million Dollar Man" is one of the most iconic wrestlers of the 1980s, and is still seen on WWE TV screens to this very day. He was the biggest heel of the entire decade, and was a brilliant foil for people such as Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant. In all fairness, DiBiase is a certified WWE legend. And that makes it all the more bizarre that he never won a major championship with the company. He "bought" the WWE Championship from Andre the Giant once, but was quickly stripped of it by WWE President Jack Tunney. The subsequent tournament to determine the next winner after the title was held in abeyance saw DiBiase reach the final - but he came up short, losing to Randy Savage. It's amazing to think that perhaps the biggest heel of the 1980s never won a major championship.
