The Miz is, no pun intended, awesome and criminally underrated, and "The Most Must-See WWE Superstar" is in a spot in his career where he's having fun as a babyface partnering up alongside R-Truth for some hijinks as the current WWE World Tag Team Champions.
While yes, hosting an episode of MizTV on Impact is just another promo segment, having a WWE-lifer bring his act to TNA would make MizTV feel much more special. It'd also allow The Miz to flex his mic skills against a whole new set of performers.
The extra added bonus, if this were Awesome Truth and not just The Miz, is how R-Truth is not only one of the funniest sports entertainers, but he's the second-ever TNA champion... sort of.
Ron Killings defeated Ken Shamrock on the eighth TNA show to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, and even won that belt a second time two years later before TNA branched off onto its own and rebranded itself and its World Title.
What if, when R-Truth steps foot in TNA, he suddenly isn't as absent-minded and silly, which throws The Miz and fans off with a fun swerve?
