Nobody knocks it out of the park each quite like Big E. Langston, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. The New Day have struck gold with their heel gimmick, and manage to pack more entertainment into a single segment or match than anybody on the entire roster. The trio share a chemistry that is simply made for television, cracking ridiculous jokes and talking constant trash. They are living proof that wrestlers becomes ten times more engaging when they are fully committed to their onscreen personas, and having great fun at the same time. It actually looks as though WWE have cottoned on to the New Day's immense popularity, and seem to be engineering a push. Although still portrayed as individually weaker than most babyfaces on the roster, they're claiming the scalps of bigger superstars on an almost weekly basis. When they ambushed Dolph Ziggler backstage, beat him unconscious and dragged him out onto the Raw entrance ramp, there was an almost tangible shift in the air. Sure, New Day are as hilarious and over-the-top as ever - but now they have a legitimate heel menace. Onwards and upwards.
