10 WWE Stars Who Came Out Of The Wilderness
1. Bray Wyatt
How They Entered The Wilderness:
Now this one isn't quite like the others, as Bray hasn't found himself shunted out of the company - but his comeback has been so dramatic that it's like he's been reborn.
The one-time awe inspiring Eater of Worlds soon found out what incomprehensible booking and meandering promo work will do to your wrestling career.
People will stop caring.
Apathy is the bane of any performer in the ring and, after a limp WWE title reign in 2017, Wyatt found himself without any real direction after his god awful feud with Finn Bálor.
He would align himself with Woken Matt Hardy after a - sometimes fun - mini programme, but when the Woken one got himself deleted through injury, Wyatt would find himself floating off into the wilderness.
How They Came Out:
Never has a man rediscovered his place in a company quite like Bray Wyatt.
Spending months away from WWE television, many were wondering when (or if) we'd ever see the other worldly being again.
Then April 2019 arrived and the Universe changed forever.
Vignettes showcasing Wyatt as a children's TV presenter offered callbacks and subtle nods to Wyatt's past, but not his motives behind this new persona. Then, after multiple episodes of the FireFly Funhouse, Wyatt would reveal his alternate Fiend enigma and release this monster on the rest of the roster in due course.
His two new personalities seem to be at odds as to whether to love or hate and it has made for WWE's most compelling character in years.
The wilderness served Wyatt well.
