10 WWE Stars Who Can’t Be Happy Right Now

Slipping on the proverbial banana skin after trying to cash in on Jinder Mahal, poor Baron Corbin became only the third wrestler in WWE history to fail with the Money In The Bank briefcase. Pinned by a champion some fans don't believe in as a sustainable headliner then hammered by John Cena at SummerSlam, Corbin has been neutered.

Mere months ago, he was in line to become SmackDown's top heel, but those plans were scrapped and Baron was sent tumbling back down to the mid card. Sure, he's in a feud with AJ Styles over the United States Title, but that oddly represents a demotion from the lofty MITB position. AJ or not, Corbin is going backwards.

WWE may try again with Corbin in 2018. If they do, the writers will need to show more patience with him than they have done up until now. Baron has good presence, but he was never ready to take the World Title scene by storm even with the briefcase.

It's true that he had momentum with it though. Without, he's just another guy on the roster.
