10 WWE Stars Who Could Claim To Be Mr. Survivor Series
6. Randy Savage
Record: 5-0 Number of main events: 1 (1988) The man with the longest undefeated streak in Survivor Series history is "Macho Man" Randy Savage. What's surprising is that he only main evented the PPV once in his career. Here's a breakdown of his five wins. 1987 - Savage captained a babyface team with Jake Roberts, Ricky Steamboat, Brutus Beefcake and Jim Duggan. They won when it was a 3 on 1 situation against Honky Tonk Man and HTM just left the match because he was a cowardly heel that didn't want to fight. 1988 - This was his only main event when he teamed with Hulk Hogan to form The Mega Powers (Savage was the WWE Champion at the time) along with Hercules, Koko B Ware and Hillbilly Jim. It wasn't a shock that Hogan and Savage were the sole survivors. 1989 - He was doing his King gimmick, so he captained a team called The King's Court. He was one of the three survivors along with Earthquake, Dino Bravo and Greg Valentine. It was a dominant win for the heels. He was off the card in 1990 and 1991. 1992 - Savage teamed with Mr. Perfect, who was a late replacement for the Ultimate Warrior. They beat Ric Flair and Razor Ramon by disqualification. It probably should have been a more decisive win for the babyface duo, but it still counts as a win for Savage. 1993 - This was his last Survivor Series because he was a part timer by that point. He teamed with Razor Ramon, Marty Jannetty and the 123 Kid in the opener. He was actually the first one pinned for his team, but they won the match so it counts as a win. Savage has the longest streak in the history of the event, but as outlined above not every win was glamorous.
