We know what you're thinking with this one. No, Booker T isn't setting the world on fire with his colour commentary performances on Raw, and no, he wasn't a great SmackDown General Manager back when he landed the role in 2012. In fact, Booker was oddly stiff as GM and rarely showed his great promo ability.

This would be a chance for redemption. Booker deserves that, because he is a fiery mic man when the material suits him. Colour commentary isn't a great role for the WCW legend, so WWE must find a way to exploit his strengths. Seeing him be constantly corrected by Michael Cole and Corey Graves each Monday night is depressing.

Booker, much like Shane McMahon, is also someone WWE can rely on to get physical when the moment is right. He's hardly going to have as many matches as Shane does, but that doesn't mean he can't fight back when heels get a little testy. Fans would pop huge to see Booker smash someone with that Axe Kick again.
