10 WWE Stars Who Could Return Before The End Of 2019

6. Lio Rush

Lil' Lio built himself a reputation backstage in WWE that, to be polite, didn't do him any favours. Now, he's telling ESPN's 'Cheap Heat' podcast that he's happy working on music for now and waiting to pick the right spot to return. Will that be before the end of this year? Don't be too shocked if it is.

Rush was terrific alongside Bobby Lashley as a mouthpiece for the six months or so they were together on screen. He finally gave Lashley some character that had been missing since Bobby's return, was a bump machine when called upon in tag matches and showed glimpses of the Cruiser style he worked on 205 Live and in NXT.

If he can get it together and stop making enemies behind the curtain, then Lio could be a sensation in front of it. At 24 years old, he should be mature enough to know that continuing to turn heads for the wrong reasons won't get him anywhere. He's too talented to let other nonsense get in the way of TV time and progress.

He'd be ideal for NXT's jump to USA, or as a manager for pretty much anyone who can't do their own talking.
