10 WWE Stars Who Could Return Before The End Of 2019

7. Sheamus

Spoiler alert: Sheamus is the guy shown fleeing the scene of the crime in that crummy show-closing angle on the latest episode of SmackDown.

Of course, this is a joke. When Erick Rowan, his lookalike or whomever WWE had pretended to push over a lighting rig to crush Roman Reigns was attempting to commit murder, Sheamus was probably blasting yet another workout in the gym or seeing a concussion specialist to ready his return.

Concussions are not something WWE take lightly these days, and rightly so. Brain injuries have become one of the most sensitive subjects for any athlete, and the 41-year old Irishman will know he shouldn't shake this off and rush his way back. He has nothing to really rush back for anyway now his team with Cesaro has apparently dissolved.

Still, it's not outside the realms of possibility that Sheamus will burst back onto the WWE scene before the end of 2019. He'd be a great addition to the roster as a veteran singles star, could easily form another tag-team with someone coming up from NXT and (jokes aside) would be a better choice as Reigns' attacker than Rowan.
