8. Aliyah

She's bubbly! She's likeable and energetic! She's...Maria Kanellis updated for the modern generation? Yep, that's what Aliyah's current gimmick seems to be. She's a ditzy, borderline thick type who waltzes through life never knowing when someone is trying to rip the p*ss. Does it work? Nah, not really.

Aliyah's 'happy to be here' approach is probably endearing to some fans, but it's hardly the kind of characterisation that serves long-term sustainability in today's women's division. Compare her to hardened workers like Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair or Bianca Belair, for example - those women have flash, but they've also got credibility during matches.

SmackDown's newbie doesn't.

Worse, WWE have given up on her already. She only joined the blue brand ranks during last October's Draft, but Aliyah is already struggling to make an impact, and she won't make one until that empty-headed gimmick gets the boot. Honestly, it needs to happen over the next few months for her to have a fighting chance.
