10 WWE Stars Who Desperately Need New Gimmicks

6. Madcap Moss

Madcap's jokes were deliberately crummy from the off, but they somehow convinced WWE management that he was worthy of the annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy. Perhaps that was a reward for putting his all into jobs for Drew McIntyre during the big Scot's feud vs. Happy Corbin.

Either way, he needs a rethink.

Playing a wisecracking sort who purposely goes out of his way to tell dad jokes isn't exactly going to endear someone to pro wrestling fans in 2022. On the plus side, Moss clearly has ability, and his well-muscled look should earn him another chance in WWE circles soon.

Where do they go from here though? The Madcap name was tied to that team with Corbin, and his promo style (those aforementioned crappy one-liners) won't click with fans as a babyface. Moss' future is unclear, but he just cannot keep dressing like a goof and delivering Christmas cracker gags for the rest of 2022.
