10 WWE Stars Who Desperately Need New Gimmicks

4. Rick Boogs

Shinsuke Nakamura's pal Rick Boogs is a bit of an anomaly on this list. He debuted as an extra in Old Spice ads alongside R-Truth, and showed enough charisma that WWE wanted to take a punt on him - that led to a run as Shin's hype man and, eventually, his tag-team partner.

Then, disaster struck.

Boogs went down with a nasty injury at 'Mania 38 and will be benched for a good while. Not all is lost though. When Ricky boy returns, he can do so with a fresh gimmick that shows a different side to him than the bizarre mix between 1980s rockstar and old-timey strongman he's been working (what would you call his latest gimmick?!).

It's time for Boogs to give Nakamura the boot too. Their duo might've gone on to become SmackDown Tag-Team Champs at some point, but most fans are likely comfortable with never seeing that happen. Rick has potential on his own with a new character to sink his teeth into.
