10 WWE Stars Who Failed In WCW
7. Road Warrior Animal
As the Legion of Doom, Animal and Hawk were one of the most successful tag teams in wrestling history. Winning titles in every promotion they went, the Road Warriors became the first and only team to complete the coveted Triple Crown, claiming the AWA, NWA and WWF Tag Team Championships.
However, Hawk's well-documented struggles led to the team going on hiatus on a number of occasions in the '90s - most notably post-SummerSlam '92. This trend would continue into the new millennium, leading Animal to his first and only WCW solo run in January 2001.
Debuting as Ric Flair's mystery fourth participant in the main event of Sin, Animal's debut was immediately tainted by the horrific leg injury sustained by Sid just minutes before.
Nevertheless, Animal got a decent pop when the reveal was made and officially formed what would become The Magnificent Seven stable when he helped Scott Steiner retain his WCW Title.
As the group's enforcer, Animal's run saw him once again wrestle exclusively in tag team competition. With a different partner virtually every week, he won just one match, losing to the likes of Kronik, Billy Kidman and Ernest 'The Cat' Miller.
The angle was dropped when WCW was bought by Vince McMahon in March 2001.
