Undertaker almost makes this list on pure longevity alone. Over the years the Deadman has featured at SummerSlam a record 15 times, 14 of which were in successive years (this man knows how to put together a streak) and nine of which ended in victoryyet another PPV record. Its certainly an odd couplea macabre, supernatural dead person and one of the warmer, more enjoyable month of the yearbut its a pairing that weve seen come together more than any other. Takers greatest SummerSlam moments include tag team glory in 1999 and 2002, three separate WWE Championship bouts, his memorable Hell in a Cell clash with Edge in 2008, as well as the bizarre honour of being the only man in the PPVs history to ever have a match with himself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LAxImAAPNI The one thing that lets the Phenom down though is that a number of his matches were upper mid-card matches rather than absolute main events, such as his clashes with Test, A-Train and Kama. In many ways this is a testament to the professionalism that has defined the Undertakers career; never reluctant to put anyone over, and as enduring and consistent as any other superstar before him. But nonetheless, his lack of show-stealing, headline matches mean that its difficult to place the Undertaker any higher on this listparticularly when one considers the following pair of usual suspects.
