Things seemed brighter for Dexter Lumis at the end of 2022 than they do at the tail end of 2023. Back then, he was feuding with The Miz. No, the rivalry wasn't 'A' level, but it was still a vote of confidence from creative that Lumis got to hang with a first ballot Hall Of Famer on the flagship show.

It was all downhill from there.

Dexter's last match came against Akira Tozawa on the 29 May Main Event. Before that, he (like Xyon Quinn) worked a bit of the Intercontinental Title contenders battle royal on the 15 May edition of Raw. Recently, fans noticed that Lumis has been doing nothing other than hanging out at home working out, and posting on X about it.

The dude is in excellent physical condition, has a quirky gimmick that seems perfect for TV, and did his best with the aforementioned Miz stuff. It can't sit well that he's been totally overlooked since that. WWE is asking Dex to play quite the waiting game.
