Erm...what's the deal here?

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn looked tremendous in a losing effort against then-dominant duo Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler on the 23 June episode of SmackDown. That match unified the pair's NXT Women's Tag-Team Titles with the main roster versions, and the Scots have vowed to come back fighting since.

They haven't though. Fyre and Dawn have been relegated to the dark match spots before SmackDown goes live lately, and their witchy story about possessing the Women's Tag belts has gone cold too. Apparently, WWE has completely lost any and all interest in pursuing that one, or even following up on it at all.

This is, unfortunately, the way things go in WWE sometimes. They're all in on a fresh act for a few weeks, then go off to play with the next shiny toy. Dawn and Fyre are victims of a quite-ridiculous lack of focus in the women's tag scene. It's why few care about the division.
