10 WWE Stars Who NEED To Return To NXT

Fittingly for the Empress of Tomorrow, this entry is all about the future.

Asuka has powered through some torrid booking to have an objectively great career on the main roster, singlehandedly proving the old maxim that the cream eventually rises to the top. However, when the current RAW women's champion looks to wind down her career, a fitting place for her to bow out would be on the show where she made her name.

Asuka never actually lost the NXT Women's Championship, choosing to abdicate it due to injury and being called up to RAW. As such, she would be more than entitled to return to the brand to win back 'her' belt. Asuka would make a great final boss for the future generation of superstars to test their mettle with, and the one who could eventually beat her would have a rocket strapped to their back. Add in a Ric Flair-like stipulation to Asuka's title reign (where she would retire on losing the title) and you'd have a worthy storyline to end one of the most historic careers in wrestling history.

Having said that, we hope that this doesn't happen for a good few years! Asuka is currently the best wrestler in the WWE, and we hope the Empress of Tomorrow will be lighting up our TV screens for a long time to come.
