10 WWE Stars Who Should NOT Go To AEW
4. King Nakamura
Current King and Intercontinental Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura has found himself a nice little spot on the WWE ladder. There is some irony in that spot being 'Intercontinental Champion', but has there ever been a better IC Champ than the King of Strong Style? Of course, that is more about the IWGP world than the WWE, but give Shinsuke time.
Nakamura's time in the world's largest pro-wrestling promotion has been up and down (to say the least). There have been Royal Rumble wins, championship successes and entertaining cameos here and there, buttressed by losses to Jinder Mahal and a worrying obsession with the phenomenal balls of AJ Styles. Shinsuke has seen plenty of American-style professional wrestling, that's for sure.
When Shinske Nakamura eventually ends his WWE run, it is almost certain that he will return to the promised land of New Japan Pro Wrestling. Whether that means full time or not remains to be seen, but even that is very much off in the distance. There's little to suggest that Nakamura is unhappy in WWE and why would there be? The man is Intercontinental Champion and has his entrance music played by an excitable dude in Zubaz.
Shinsuke Nakamura is living the dream.
