10 WWE Stars Who Will Have A Strong Second Half To 2017

3. Jason Jordan

As great as American Alpha were together, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable have plenty of untapped potential as singles guys as well.

Both men are equally talented, but Jordan is the one in the spotlight at the moment, not Gable. Once it was revealed he was Kurt Angle's long-lost son, he was moved over to Raw and immediately had a rocket strapped to his back. Granted, it's only been two weeks, but Jordan has made the most of his push so far.

In his first-ever match on Monday Night Raw, Jordan defeated Curt Hawkins in impressive fashion. If his upcoming encounter with The Miz on Miz TV is any indication, it's fairly likely he'll be wearing the Intercontinental Championship around his waist sooner rather than later, following in the footsteps of his "dad" in the process.

It's way too early for him to be in contention for the Universal Championship, but if WWE plays their cards right with Jordan, he can very well be a main event player on Raw by this time next year. That is entirely dependent, though, on whether he can continue to rise in the ranks on Raw in 2017.
