4. Shinsuke Nakamura

Has WWE booked Shinsuke Nakamura perfectly since he was called up from NXT to the main roster? No. Is he still destined to become a big star in the company? Absolutely.

The first half of 2017 saw him lose the NXT Championship to Bobby Roode and fail to get the belt back before arriving on SmackDown Live two days after WrestleMania 33. The crowd went wild for his debut, though he seemed to lose some steam when he was instantly placed in a program with Dolph Ziggler, an irrelevant heel on the roster. They had a few good matches, but Nakamura didn't shine the way many thought he would.

His most recent showings at Money in the Bank and Battleground against Baron Corbin have been decent, but he has yet to really deliver at that level we know he can. That should come once he feuds with someone that is as skilled as he is in the ring, whether that be AJ Styles or Sami Zayn. He'll actually be doing battle with John Cena this coming Tuesday, so maybe he will be the one to get a great match of The King of Strong Style at long last.

Regardless of what you think of how he's been handled thus far, there's no denying officials see him as the star he is and will continue to protect him going forward.
