10 WWE Stars Whose Stock Has Fallen The Most Since SummerSlam 2016
6. Becky Lynch
This time last year, the flame-haired dynamo that is Becky Lynch was readying herself to become the first ever SmackDown Women's Champion. Being part of a 6-woman tag match scheduled right before SummerSlam 2016's most important bouts seemed inconsequential back then, because Becky was going to take SmackDown by storm as champ and become the brand's leading light.
That didn't happen. For some reason, WWE's top decision makers didn't get behind Becky fully and she was dethroned by NXT's Alexa Bliss less than three months into her reign. Since then, Lynch hasn't been SmackDown's focal point and she finds herself out in the cold in time for SummerSlam 2017.
It's Naomi vs. Natalya that will fill the SmackDown Women's Title slot on 20 August. Lynch isn't even in the equation, forced instead to watch as Carmella threatens to cash in her Money In The Bank briefcase. Poor Becky's talent isn't earning her big paydays.
