You really have to wonder about WWE creative sometimes. Do they really sit around a table and say, Hey, we have two young black wrestlers in developmental, lets bring them up, dress them like street thugs with bling and have them steal stuff. We can call them Cryme Tyme! Well make millions! On one hand, it was so over-the-top that it the duo actually got pretty over (along with their Money, money, yeah, yeah catchphrase), and they even backed Cena for a brief time. Fans rallied to the team and helped make them one of the more popular tag teams in the late 2000s. But watching JTG and Shad steal Deuce and Dominos convertible or having a ho sale of Litas underwear after she loses her retirement match makes you wonder if this is the only way two young black men can make it to the main roster. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6-n3MkJJoA But then again, you could point to The Rock and Mark Henry as members of the Nation of Domination as proof that anything is possible. Just hang in there another couple of years, JTG!
