10 WWE Storylines That Made No Damn Sense In 2020

3. Miz Sues Otis

Money in the Bank needs to die. That has been true for a few years, but the shambles that has been the treatment and booking of the concept in 2020 makes an undeniable case. There is no coming back for the briefcase, at least not for a few years.

Yes, the use of the case analogy was intended. The Miz and Otis feuded over the latter's briefcase for much of the summer, eventually leading to Tucker turning on his buddy and allowing the former WWE Champion to become Mr Money in the Bank once again. The whole thing was idiotic from the get-go, a stupid story involving lunchboxes both real and fake and nonsensical lawsuits based around physical violence.

Otis was essentially sued for wrestling Miz. You know, doing his job.

Miz using his influence to get Mandy Rose drafted to RAW was an interesting plot twist, but everything else about this feud made approximately zero sense. Otis wasn't exactly a strong briefcase holder but he sure has more credibility than The Miz, a man who has been booked as an actual joke for a long while now.

Poor John Morrison. The Shaman of Sexy deserves so much more than this.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
