On the flipside of that coin, there are a cluster of guys that the Booker Ts and Jeff Hardys of this world could only dream of one day emulating.

Now, you could argue that The Undertaker has (technically) got the greatest record at SummerSlam, with ten wins to his name from his 16 appearances. But as we discussed in the previous entry, that means he has a number of sullying defeats to his name as well.

For the likes of Jerry “The King” Lawler and The Ultimate Warrior, their slates are in pristine condition, with domineering records of 3-0 and 5-0 respectively. In fact, there are actually a number of wrestlers who share Lawler’s 3-0 record at SummerSlam, including Hacksaw Jim Duggan and John Morrison.

But way out ahead with the best record of all, is none other than the incredible, invincible, immortal Hulk Hogan, whose tally of six wins without defeat puts him in a league of his own when it comes to the summer PPV.

Hogan’s haul includes back-to-back tag team wins in ’88 and ’89, a victory over Earthquake in 1990, followed by a handicap win against the Triangle of Terror in 1991. Then in his most recent stint with the company, he scored successes over Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton in '05 and '06, to complete a formidably flawless SummerSlam record that doesn’t look like being beaten anytime soon, brother.
