Former RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey has been away from WWE since WrestleMania 35, but she had only made her grand debut a year prior. There, she teamed up with Kurt Angle to take on the team of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Everyone lauded Rousey for her in-ring work as she exceeded all expectations. 'The Cerebral Assassin' put the former UFC athlete over with the crowd by wrestling with her in the mixed tag team match.

'The Game' disclosed how Vince McMahon's organization came in touch with her and said:

"It's one of those things that happened organically. I had heard about her being a big fan. There were a few things we sort of inadvertently connected with each other on without actually meeting. She came and did the Ice Bucket Challenge with Steph [McMahon] when we were in L.A., and even then she kind of floated it out how much she loved [WWE]."

Ultimately, the company signed Rousey, and she had an incredible run as a Superstar.
