10 WWE Superstars Fired In The Shortest Time

WWE had big plans for the third season of the-then gameshow version of NXT in 2010, and they largely revolved around a towering talent known as Aloisia.

The 6'9" Californian, who'd previously wrestled under the sobriquet 'Isis the Amazon' (which now sounds a bit like a terrorist threat towards an online shop), was set to stand a head and shoulders above her forebears as the tallest woman in WWE history - both literally and figuratively. Even the dubious mentorship of SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero as her 'Pro' should not have been able to impede Aloisia's (admittedly easier) ascent.

Well, according to WWE, it did. An official statement before the show even debuted announced Aloisia's departure, owing to a rift between the two. In reality, the company had got wind of raunchy albeit tasteless photoshoots of their next big thing spread across the internet. Given how John Laurinaitis scouted talent at the time, it's a wonder WWE hadn't learned sooner.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
