3. Bret Hart
WWE.comBret Hart was never really seen as a WCW guy. He was a WWE lifer that had signed a huge deal with the company when Vince McMahon told him he couldn't afford him anymore. The deal he signed with WCW in 1997 was for about $3 million (about $2 million more than WWE's contract), so Hart took it since he had no other choice. His WCW days weren't great. He is the first guy to admit that. They never really understood how to book him the right way and it led to a lot of unhappiness for him. Two years after he debuted, he was on the receiving end of an aggressive kick by Bill Goldberg that ended up causing a career ending concussion. It's a shame he even had to go to WCW in the first place and that he couldn't end his career in WWE the right way as a veteran that put over the younger wrestlers. Eventually he did come back in 2010 and made his WrestleMania return that year too, but he had health issues and it wasn't a typical return. At least he found his way "home" and is a part of the WWE family again.
