8. Daniel Bryan
Before Hell in a Cell, a rumour started doing the rounds that Daniel Bryan had been cleared for action but was waiting on WWE Creative to find a good reason for him to return to television. As much of a beloved fan-favourite as Bryan may be, it's apparent by now that the company doesn't view him as a huge financial draw, but they're massively foolish for not taking advantage of this talented and popular Superstar. Of course, now that they've lost yet another WWE World Heavyweight Champion to injury, you have to believe that Bryan's timetable to return to action is going to be moved up. That's going to be great for the leader of the Yes Movement, especially as recent interviews have seen him state that he'll ultimately wrestle for another company if the WWE refuses to clear him; Bryan is clearly desperate to get back to what he loves. However, I wouldn't for a second expect to see Daniel once again holding the world title. While it's certainly possible that he'll be mixed up in that scene somehow, the last thing the WWE is going to want is to put the belt on someone who has already had two reigns come to a premature end in the last eighteen months or so. Still, the company needs some star power, and this fan-favourite fits that bill perfectly.
