10 WWE Superstars Guaranteed To Benefit From Seth Rollins' Absence

7. Kevin Owens

Despite not having the classic WWE Superstar look that Vince McMahon appears to gravitate towards, it's become apparent that he sees something special in the charismatic and extremely talented Kevin Owens. Thrust immediately into a great spot on the card, not even the dreaded Intercontinental Championship Curse has held Owens back, as he's so far been portrayed as a dominant champion, regularly playing a role in the main event scene, and even getting the chance to compete for a chance to face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at this month's Survivor Series. There have been a few interesting backstage interactions between Owens and Triple H since his debut, and it's easy to picture him now slipping into the role left by Rollins in The Authority. The best part about that possibly is the fact that he doesn't need the world title to do so. Yes, whoever holds that belt - preferably a face - could pose a problem for The Authority, but sending Owens after them would do a huge amount to restore the prestige of his Intercontinental title. Who knows, that could even become the focal point of The Authority storyline, with the world title taking a lower spot in the card for a spell. Either way, don't be even remotely surprised to now see even more of Owens on WWE programming. Like Rollins, he's clearly one of Triple H's favourites behind the scenes, so big things are no doubt on the horizon...
