7. Cesaro

Another veteran of WWE, Cesaro has had several tweaks to his character since joining the sports-entertainment juggernaut in 2011. Whether it was as an ex-Swiss militia with girlfriend Aksana, a "Real American" alongside Zeb Colter, or the King Of Swing flanked by Paul Heyman, none of WWE's characterizations have helped Cesaro reach his full potential.

Through podcast interviews, appearances on WWE Network shows, and other non-traditional outlets, fans have seen more of the Swiss Superman's personality than they have on Monday nights. On WWE Ride Along, Cesaro was much more entertaining talking about the universal truck driver signal, non-balding men that shave their heads, and other topics in his car ride with Seth Rollins than during any of the segments RAW writers have scripted him in recently.

Fans connect with talents they believe in and it's easier to relate to Cesaro when he's being himself, not WWE's version of the character. Behind a script, Cesaro can come off as a stiff, but when left to speak naturally, he's much more credible.

He's got a great physique, incredible superhuman-like strength, and a workrate that can compete with the best of them, but the creative behind him has definitely held Cesaro back.
