Talk about a guy that's got more to deliver: Rusev seems to be capable of so much more than the anti-American, Bulgarian Brute he's played on TV for most of his WWE career thus far. After an impressive start that culminated in a United States Championship match at WrestleMania against John Cena, Rusev got lost in the mix.

Although the creative and writing was the drizzling-you-know-whats, Rusev's storyline break-up with Lana in 2015 showcased a different side of his character, a comedic side. More recently, that side has been seen on E! Network's Total Divas as well as WWE's spoof-show on 80s wrestling territories, Southpaw Regional Wrestling (more on that later).

Rusev's facials and smug attitude during the 2015 split with Lana was pure ex-boyfriend jerkiness at its finest. The half-witted Big Bart from Southpaw Regional Wrestling takes Rusev's comedy to another level, playing a so-bad-it's-good wrestling farmer that verbally struggles through every promo.

More reps to showcase these skills on RAW, along with opportunities to further develop his own character, would only help Rusev grow as a talent. WWE creative may have failed Rusev thus far, but Rusev has not failed himself.
