10 WWE Superstars In Desperate Need Of An Image Update

7. Sasha Banks

Bayley gets away with the tributary garb because her character is a humble Superfan of sports entertainment. When she dresses as Randy Savage, it is both affectionate and fitting. When Sasha Banks cribbed inspiration from Eddie Guerrero, it felt incongruous, nice though it was in theory. Sasha is The Boss. She is - or should not be - subservient to anybody.

Elsewhere, Banks mirrors her character's aimless trajectory with a series of unconnected outfits. She is one of many WWE stars with no singular, identifiable "look", likely because, as the husband of WWE seamster Sarath Ton, she has first refusal. This indiscipline breeds the idea that today's wrestler is more preoccupied with the idea of playing a wrestler. Bret Hart never deviated from his pink and black colour scheme. Much like his in-ring game, he was thoroughly dependable. A brand requires some sort of permanence to become iconic. Coca-Cola would never change the logo. It is synonymous with unparalleled success.

Banks, as a domineering character modelled in an urban chic mode, should adopt - and stick with - a platinum and gold palette indicating a record-breaking level of prestige far beyond the peers she deems inferior.
