3. Mojo Rawley

The Kickoff match between former Hype Bros Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder, at Clash of Champions, was a low-key triumph. The two men created an atmosphere of genuine animosity, selling the premise excellently. Ryder looked sympathetic, not like the geek we've come to know and pity, while Rawley reinforced his heel mojo by positioning himself as a killer. It was an all-round success.

Except.

Except Mojo Rawley wore the same old gear he's been wearing since his days as an excitable, air-humping babyface doofus. Wearing garish yellow, it was somewhat difficult to truly take him seriously. If any wrestler needs to rock the all-black look, it is Rawley. He turned heel on Ryder precisely because he wants to be perceived as a "serious competitor"; a bright colour palette suggests the exact opposite. But, beyond that, it serves only to remind fans of his dismal face run. And it truly was dismal; the man looked like a goon doing his football gimmick in a wrestling ring.

We ain't hyped about a heel turn because Rawley barely looks like a heel. Bad guys wear black; tag yourself and don't turn back.
