2. Roman Reigns

People are beyond tired of Roman Reigns - or at least the notion that he is the biggest babyface in the company.

Even those who rate him are tired of the character's presentation and the dissonance of it all. He is a symbol of Vince McMahon's stubbornness, more so than he is a genuine human being. That he remains in only a slight variation of his Shield attire makes emblematic a problem only McMahon is unable - or unwilling - to see. Reigns, accused of doing the same old sh*t, saying the same old sh*t ("...b*tch!"), beating the same old opponents, is still wearing the same old gear and making his entrance to the same old music. In his current get-up, the boos aren't just unavoidable - the fans have effectively been conditioned.

Perhaps the chest protector is deemed necessary because, as Leakee, Roman lacked - and may still lack - definition. But still: even a change in colour scheme would do something to disguise just how unimaginative it is, and allow fans in some way to disassociate from an act they associate with fury.

Tribal body armour drawing on his Samoan heritage is a bit New Generation - but it's better than the same old sh*t.
