Speaking of Kendrick, the current WWE Cruiserweight Champion went one-on-one with The Face That Runs The Place on only one occasion. Cena wasn't quite running the place with his face back in 2003 however, and Kendrick wasn't even going by that name. Well, he was, but he was also called Spanky, which despite the nostalgia and memories will always go down as an absolutely awful wrestling name.

Cena was rapping and heeling his sweet little behind off at the time, and whilst the match between 'Doctor of Thuganomics' John Cena and 'Spanky' Brian Kendrick wasn't up to much, the rap battle between the two was an absolute joy to behold. Brian Kendrick is absolutely hilarious, and if you've ever needed to see Brian Hebner beatboxing then here's your chance.

But yeah, Cena vanquished Spanky fairly easily when it came to a battle in the ring. Times have changed in 2016, with both men positioned as grizzled veterans. Will we see this bout once more? Time shall tell.
