Given that the WWE booking team regularly (and quite deservedly) receives so much criticism, its only fair to acknowledge the clever and considered job theyve done so far with The Shield in general, and Roman Reigns in particular. By foregrounding Dean Ambrose as The Shields mouthpiece and positioning Rollins as the workhorse in his partnership with Reigns, the booking team have subtlety shielded (pun intended) Reigns weaknesses while emphasising his strengths. It was to be expected that his size and explosive strength would cast him in the traditional enforcer role, but the part also allows him the freedom to develop his skills while the more polished Ambrose and Rollins shoulder the greater part of the groups in-ring and on-mic responsibilities. Together with his size, athleticism, and good-looks, this relatively pressure-free opportunity to develop his talents should he take full advantage will stand him in good stead come the inevitable split with his Shield buddies. Next to the sneering Ambrose or the smug Rollins he seems well-suited for a place in the ranks of upper-card faces, a division thats crying out for reinforcements. Which brings us to
