10 WWE Superstars The Undertaker Should Have Faced At WrestleMania Instead
2. Brock Lesnar - WrestleMania 32
Rumor has it that 'Taker and Lesnar's epic Hell In A Cell match at the 2015 edition of the eponymous PPV was originally planned for WrestleMania 32 and, knowing what we know now, it's a damn shame that it didn't happen there. Yes, there would have been a number of logistical issues in that Lesnar would have had to lose because 'Taker couldn't lose twice at 'Mania to the same man, but that would have been a welcome outcome nonetheless - especially when we reflect on the alternative.
The Hell In A Cell match between The Undertaker and Shane McMahon could have been great if it had been 10-15 minutes shorter, but it made no sense whatsoever, portrayed the lovable Undertaker like a heel and ultimately amounted to nothing.
There was reportedly a lot of reshuffling done that year because of Seth Rollins and John Cena being unable to wrestle and it has since gone down as a resounding disappointment. That would not have been the case if 'Taker and Lesnar had been allowed to have their incredible MOTY-winning Hell In A Cell showdown five months later than they actually did.
This one deserved the grandeur of WrestleMania and, in all honesty, this WrestleMania needed the grandeur of it.
