5. The Miz

The fact The Miz currently doesn't have a title around his waist hardly matters. He's a must-see superstar regardless of what championship he's fighting for or what show he's on, and his work so far in 2018 has been nothing short of, well, awesome.

Miz made it clear when he returned to WWE TV in mid-January that his sights were set on becoming a champion once again. It only took two weeks for him to regain the Intercontinental Championship for a whopping eighth time from Roman Reigns and go on to light the road to WrestleMania ablaze.

During his feud with Seth Rollins and Finn Bálor, Miz delivered in the ring on every occasion, especially at Backlash where he and Rollins stole the show. He has since switched shows and finds himself back where he belongs on SmackDown Live.

As difficult as it is for fans to hate him, he remains WWE's quintessential heel. He'll be a part of the upcoming men's Money in the Bank Ladder match and it would be a crime for him to not walk away with the briefcase given the momentum he has at the moment.
