10 WWE Superstars Who Are Firing On All Cylinders Right Now

4. Shinsuke Nakamura

If we're being completely honest, the first year of Shinsuke Nakamura's main roster run was less than stellar. Sure, he was protected more often than not and scored some key victories versus John Cena and Randy Orton, but his various unsuccessful attempts in capturing the WWE Championship hurt his stock within the company.

Thankfully, he turned his career around in a major way by going heel following his loss to WWE champion AJ Styles at WrestleMania 34. It was unknown how he would fare in the role given how likable he is as a babyface, but he came across as so much more natural as a heel as early as the post-WrestleMania edition of SmackDown Live.

Of course, Nakamura's in-ring abilities have always been second to none, but now viewers have a real reason to care about his character. As badly booked as his feud with Styles has been, Nakamura has held his own each week on the mic and has fully reinvented himself as a hated heel.

The King of Strong Styles becoming WWE champion at Money in the Bank would be the icing on the cake of what has been a hot heel run so far for him.
