Stone Cold Steve Austin is continually cursing the overuse of the DDT on any given night, and he's got a point you know. But former Shield member Dean Ambrose has started to use the double-arm version of the move as his new finisher.

WWE is reportedly high on the Lunatic Fringe using it because nobody on the active roster is at the moment, and nobody really has done as a game-ender since Mick Foley threw it out there around fifteen years ago. The funny thing is, the move has been labelled 'Dirty Deeds' all along, but the move has actually changed (as you've probably noticed).

The original - from when Ambrose started ending matches on his own as one third of The Shield - was a version of a headlock into a drive downwards into the mat. Nowadays, it's just the plain old double-arm DDT.

Don't bet against that being changed again, though. WWE don't really know what to do with Ambrose when it comes to anything at the moment.
