Jack Swagger has had his moments where he's been pushed to the heavens by WWE bigwigs. He's got an excellent amateur wrestling background, is a great size and initially made a good transition into sports entertainment.

Swagger's been World Heavyweight Champion and held a number of other titles, but shortly into his stay transitioned across from a 'Gutwrench Powebomb' finishing move into the legendary and uber-painful-looking ankle-lock, eventually christening it the 'Patriot Lock'.

It certainly ties in well with Swagger's character given his amateur roots, and at certain points the move has really played a crucial part in cementing his place as an important member of the card. These days though, and without Zeb Colter and Cesaro, Swagger is languishing in no man's land. It's hard to see a route back to importance at the moment, but time is still on his side.

He's still only 33!
