2. Randy Orton

Not appearing on WWE programming since May, Randy Orton's severe back issues were said to be so troubling at one point that Dave Meltzer would eventually note how The Viper's career "almost ended" after dropping the Raw tag titles to the Usos alongside partner Riddle.

Throughout his extended absence, rumours of the multiple-time World Champion perhaps never being able to make an in-ring return in the wake of undergoing lower back fusion surgery left many understandably wondering whether they'd actually seen the last of The Legend Killer in-between the ropes.

However, talk of Orton apparently reaching out to a wrestling bootmaker to create a new set of shoes for his potential return has offered a bit of hope in regards to an incoming Apex Predator comeback. Orton also notably looked to be in rather jacked shape when snapped in a recent photo, so perhaps a post-Mania Raw appearance isn't entirely off the table at this stage.

Orton's long-time partner and potential rival Riddle could seemingly join his RK-Bro pal on the night of his comeback, too, with the also absent bro possibly even being struck down by the veteran snake in one hell of a swerve mid-reunion.
