Who knew that the WWE Universe loved Braun Strowman so much?
The recently christened 'Monster of All Monsters' returned to WWE a few weeks ago, and the fans have lapped it up like thirsty kittens. There is no denying the giant's popularity, but it is surprising, especially considering the final lacklustre years of his previous WWE run.
People were shocked when Strowman was released last summer, but few seemed disappointed. Now, the man has returned in unbelievable shape and seemingly with a point to prove.
Plus... who wouldn't pop like crazy if Strowman obliterated the Bloodline and screamed at the 'Tribal Chief' that he wasn't finished with him?
The two men had a stellar rivalry a few years ago, delivering the best matches of Strowman's career and sending the former Wyatt Family member's popularity skyrocketing. Also, it was Strowman that Reigns pinned back at Payback 2020 to win the belt in the first place.
Vince McMahon's inability to pull the trigger on Braun at the height of his popularity was ultimately the 'Monster Among Men's' undoing, and Triple H would be foolish to let the opportunity for a do-over to pass him by. Once he is done obliterating the WWE tag team division, expect to see Strowman start hunting for his old adversary.
