Upon his arrival in WWE on the ECW brand in 2009, Yoshi Tatsu appeared to have all the tools to be a breakout star. Granted, he could hardly had any mic skills, but that didn't stop him from quickly making a connection with the audience through his impressive aerial maneuvers and his sensational skills in the ring.

However, once he was moved to the Raw brand the following year, his momentum came to an abrupt halt. You would have never known he was on the roster because he rarely made televised appearances, and when he did, it was often in a losing effort. Essentially, his talent was put to waste and his release from the company was drew near.

Not giving up on his dream just yet, Tatsu embarked to NXT where he became a regular on the program by late 2012. While he lost more matches than he won, he still was able to contest competitive matchups against the likes of Corey Graves, Leo Kruger and Bray Wyatt.

Even then, it didn't change officials' perception of him, and before long, it was only a matter of time before he was cut from his contract. He looked unmotivated and out of shape by his final few matches and was eventually let go in the summer of 2014.
