10 WWE Superstars Who Hated Their Own Moves

9. Matt Hardy - Leg Drop

Matt Hardy (much like his brother Jeff) has put his body through absolute hell over the years.

Yet, the one move which Hardy wished he'd never performed in front of a wrestling audience didn't involve him moonsaulting onto a rival or Twist of Fating a poor soul off the top of a ladder.

No, the move which Hardy no doubt hates more than any other is his trademark Leg Drop, or more specifically the one he performed off the top of a steel cage against Edge at Unforgiven 2005.

That specific spot altered Hardy's body forever and it's because of this decision to perform the Leg Drop from such a height that his lower back and pelvis started to fuse together.

This has clearly forced Hardy to change his style and there was a good chance that he could have retired from wrestling completely a few years back due to the long term injury.

In 2020, Hardy is now in the shape of his life as a member of the AEW roster. However, you can bet that he now despises the thought of ever using the Leg Drop again, knowing the effects the move has had on his life and career.
