The one man southern rock band barely gets any time on television any more. Perhaps it's for good reason, but lets argue otherwise. Whenever Heath Slater does get his time to shine, he's booed right out of the building. Is this because he's got a great, heat-garnering gimmick or because he's having fun with annoying the heck out of people? Perhaps the latter. Facts are, his character sucks. He's going out there when he gets the opportunity like a lamb to the slaughter and while he's having enjoying it, he's never going to amount to anything other than resident jobber. He's just another guy on the roster at the moment who's likely been told 'creative has nothing for you' and is just waiting to be future endeavoured. Slater's got to rack his brain to find himself a fresh start, because it blatantly seems nobody there is going to help him out. Slater's shown enough proof though that he's able to think on his feet and get a reaction, even with his terrible current package. Imagine what he could do with a better one. He might win at least one match.
