10 WWE Superstars Who Should Switch Brands In 2017
2. Carmella
Just like with Kalisto, fans were bemused and confused by WWE’s decision to split Carmella from Enzo and Cass. While the duo had done just fine by themselves while Carmella finished up in NXT, it seemed inevitable that The Princess of Staten Island would join them when the time was right. After all, Carmella and Enzo are so similar, they’re essentially gender-swapped versions of the same character.
Although her current storyline with James Ellsworth is worth a few cheap laughs, it feels like both stars are treading water in lieu of something more substantial. It’s unlikely that Carmella will be given a shot at the Smackdown Women’s title any time soon, so why not send her over to RAW where she can reform with Enzo and Cass? She could even provide the spark that leads to their inevitable breakup feud – her manipulation skills have already made short work of Ellsworth, and they could be used to drive a wedge between Muscles Marinara and his very tall friend.
Failing that, why not draft Enzo and Cass over to Smackdown, whose tag division is in dire need of a shot in the arm. Enzo and Cass might not be the most technically gifted wrestlers, but they’re a bright, colourful, catchphrase-spouting group, stuck on a roster that already has The New Day.
