In truth, Stardust could have been handed a place on this list, if it weren't for the fact that his minions are in a tougher spot. Cody Rhodes has suffered, due to the death of his father, and the fact that WWE don't seem to keen on doing much with him. At the very least, he's someone who has been accepted onto the main roster. By stark contrast, The Ascension really haven't. On NXT programming, Konnor and Viktor were largely dominant. Since moving up to the bright lights of shows like Monday Night Raw however, they have been whipping boys. Recently, The Ascension lost a 2-on-1 handicap match against Ryback on Smackdown, and the entire ordeal lasted just shy of 2 whole minutes. That's indicative of The Ascension's standing. It's hard to see where things go from this point, just how do The Ascension become valuable parts of the main roster? WWE would struggle to book them as winners, because fans have been conditioned throughout 2015 to accept them as losers. A complete repackaging may be necessary, because any aura the team had on NXT was lost in 2014, and used to wipe the floor in 2015.
