10 WWE Superstars Who Will Leave In 2019

3. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar has successfully dual-wielded MMA and pro wrestling before. His match opposite Randy Orton at SummerSlam 2016 came just 43 days after he beat Mark Hunt at UFC 200. Although that was later overturned to a no contest due to anti-doping controversy, Brock did prove he could do it.

That need to fight will always be part of Lesnar's make-up. It's who he is, and it's clear WWE doesn't scratch his itch for genuine competition.

Brock has re-entered the drug testing pool for UFC, and his one-year NSAC ban has elapsed. That, along with his face-to-face showdown with Daniel Cormier at UFC 226, suggests Lesnar is about to try and make some more MMA memories. How long can that co-exist with sporadic WWE matches and appearances?

That's a discussion Brock and Vince McMahon need to have, as planning any WWE bouts around Lesnar's UFC fights will be challenging. If he gets injured in the Octagon, it'll directly affect WWE business, and that's something both sides will be wary of.

We can see Brock announcing his departure from wrestling in 2019 to focus on perhaps a final MMA run.
